What does the Board do?
The PVHOA Board of Directors is a volunteer group who are elected by the homeowners of Park Village. The Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, Articles of Incorporation, and By Laws give the Board of Directors the power to adopt, amend, and repeal policies and procedures, as it deems necessary. The Board meets monthly in an open meeting forum to discuss current concerns. The Board welcomes all residents to appear and discuss any concerns they may have. To get on the agenda for the monthly Board meeting, please call 919-878-8787.
What do Association committees do?
Park Village has established groups and committees to assist in the management of various responsibilities and goals of the community. Committees consist of volunteer(s) (homeowners) and manage specific areas of activity for association members. Committee functions include clubhouse activities, organize Neighborhood Watch, ensure proper upkeep of the facilities and grounds (including common outdoor areas (clubhouse, pool and playground), implement Architectural Control guidelines, and represent the community interest to local authorities. Committees hold meetings on a monthly basis or as needed.
How do I get involved in one of the community groups?
To volunteer for a committee call the community clubhouse coordinator at 919-878-8787. (Please leave a message and someone will get back to you) or email the committee with the links provided Committees.
Where can I find the Park Village Covenants Online?
Go to http://rodweb01.co.wake.nc.us/books/genext/genextsearch.asp Book: 5816 Page: 346 then click "Search". On the results page click on the document link (X) to view the document.
What facilities are available in the clubhouse?
There is a full kitchen in the clubhouse, with a stove, a microwavable oven, and a full sized refrigerator. No utensils or pots are provided, so plan on bringing your own supplies. There is a 40 inch TV with a DVD player. There are ten tables and approximately 32 chairs, along with a sofa, loveseat, coffee table and trashcans.
Can I use the pool in conjunction with the clubhouse?
No. Our Association's regulations prohibit the use of clubhouse guests walking back and forth from the pool to the entertainment section of the clubhouse. It is a serious safety hazard, not to mention the fact that it will absolutely ruin our Pergo flooring.
The pool is available for poolside parties on a first come, first serve basis. You are welcome to bring guests to the pool, pay the guest fees as appropriate and make use of whatever tables and chairs are available at the time. You are welcome to have food and drink at the pool (no glass please!) and can spread out onto the deck area to enjoy your time with your guests.
Can I rent the shelter at the playground?
The shelter is not available for rental, but is available on a first come, first serve basis. Feel free to have guests meet at the playground, but please bare in mind that we need to share the shelter facility amongst all of our Park Village families at all times, especially for those who may wish to park their little ones in strollers in the shade.
Who is the Clubhouse Coordinator?
The Clubhouse Coordinator is a volunteer position that is rotated among several people to accommodate everyone's vacations and busy work and family commitment schedules. Duties include showing the facility to potential renters. Inspecting the clubhouse before rental and the following day. Completing the Park Village Clubhouse Coordinator Checklist before and after rental. The coordinator that handles the rental, and inspections, will receive $25.00 per rental. Each coordinator will receive one free rental per year provided that they have served at least 4 months.
